11/2/11
This is the first day of my internship! my supervisor is Ellie Mcwilliams and my task is to get new computers downgraded to windows XP and install all the programs and any hardware that is needed for the computer to function properly. Today I did this with one computer as it seems that that i could only do this with one computer at a time.
11/16/11
I worked on another computer doing the same exact thing to that computer than the first one I worked on. It was all fairly simple work by using the knowledge from my previous job at eon technologies.
12/14/11
this is the third of the four days I am interning here to fulfill my 20 hour internship requirement. I did the same thing with another computer and fixed a printer. Nothing really eventful happened a lot of fixing computers is a hurry up and wait job anyways.
1/18/12
This was my last day of my internship it was a good experience and helped keep my tech skills sharp. I did the same exact thing with one final computer furfilling my 20 hour requirement.
Closing report
to fulfill my 20 hour internship requirement I interned at pcc logistics. I worked for four days five hours per day. Reloading windows xp one computers that once had windows 7 on them. then after that installed the programs necessary for the computer. Nothing really deviated from this system for all four days there I wouldn't say it was a dull experience I learned a lot of stuff about the shipping business although the computer side of things I already knew how to do. As I am leader of tech team and worked at eon technologies which fixed computers as a business for an entire year. Working at pcc logistics wasn't directly in my field because I don't want to become a computer technician but, instead an electrical engineer hopefully making computer systems for the future focusing on being eco friendly. Pcc logistics was a relaxed place to intern at perhaps because I wasn’t getting paid but none the less quite different than working for eon technologies which often times was quite stressful. I learned even more that I do not want to become a computer tech rather be making the hardware that runs the computer than fixing it. In the end I quite enjoyed having to intern to graduate ACLC
